Elon Musk’s notification to Tesla employees, asking to end remote work

Ever since the beginning of the Covid-19 pandemic, work from home has become an integral part of our professional life. Some officials are not satisfied with the new system of WFH, and now, one of them is the Chief Executive Officer of Tesla, Elon Musk.

Today, Musk expressed his views on the topic by developing an email that was sent to the employees supposedly on his entity. Musk clearly said that working from home is not appropriate for Tesla employees and they should go to the office for at least 40 hours per week.

His notification reads, “Under the subject line, Remote work is no longer acceptable (sic). Anyone who wishes to do remote work must be in the office for a minimum of 40 hours per week or depart Tesla. This is less than we ask of factory workers.”

Musk also appreciated the workforce in China and even implied that the workers in the United States were making an effort to avoid going to work. He further said that there are just a lot of super-talented, hardworking people in China who robustly give credence to manufacturing.
