Jos Buttler’s century pushed RRs to an inch closer to chase title

After 14 years since their inaugural run under legendary Shane Warne, Rajasthan Royals set their foot into the final match of IPL this season. The star player of Qualifier 2 which was held between Rajasthan Royals and Royal Challengers Bangalore last night is Jos Buttler who hit an incredible 106 in just 60 balls.

It was quite obvious that Buttler’s opening for RR was to take home the game of the night, after restricting RCB to 157/8. Not only had he hit a century but also smashed 6 maximums and 10 boundaries in his 106. However, Buttler was appreciated by all his fans on various social media platforms.

Jos Buttler is the third player to achieve 800-run mark in a single season of IPL, after Virat Kohli and David Warner. In detail, Kohli scored a record-breaking 973 runs in 2016 while David Warner scored 848 runs to help Sunrisers Hyderabad to lift their first title. The final match of IPL is going to be held on Sunday between Gujarat Titans and Rajasthan Royals at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.
