Seeking the support from nearly 3.95 lakh beneficiaries of the TRS government’s welfare schemes in Munugode Assembly constituency for bypoll, which is to be held on November 3, the chief minister and the party president, K. Chandrasekhar Rao has decided to write personal letters to them. He has grabbed the responsibility of Lankalapalli village in Munugode mandal as one of the party’s election incharges apart from the bypoll strategy to hire ministers and party MLAs to oversee for every village and mandal.
In order to work for the party’s victory, Rao has deputed TRS leaders from his home constituency Gajwel. He promised to local leaders that he would soon chair a public meeting in the constituency. According to sources, the chief minister’s public meeting is being planned in Chandur either on October 29 or 30 prior to the polling.
The personal letters that will be written by KCR will reach beneficiaries of Aasara pensions, crop loan waiver, Rythu Bandhu, Rythu Bima, Kalyana Lakshmi/Shaadi Mubarak, KCR kits, sheep distribution, dairy units, Dalit Bandhu, paddy procurement, interest-free loans and the CM Relief Fund.
There are 3,34,994 beneficiaries in Munugode Assembly constituency who have received benefits at a total of Rs 10,260 crore since TRS came to reigns in 2014. KCR’s letters are being printed, in which the chief minister will list the welfare schemes implemented by the TRS government since 2014, as well as how much each household has benefited from these schemes.
The letters include the name of the welfare scheme under which he or she is a beneficiary and information about the schemes as well as the amounts received by each beneficiary under various schemes.
