Chief Minister KCR ,expressed pride in Telangana’s progress under his leadership, having served as CM twice for a decade. Emphasizing a commitment to a poverty free Telangana, KCR outlined ambitious goals of achieving 100 percent literacy, continuous drinking water, and comprehensive irrigation akin to Kerala.
Addressing public meetings in various constituencies, KCR asserted that his fight is for the well being of the people, not just for office. He cautioned against the Congress party, stating that its victory might lead to the end of Telangana. KCR highlighted his government’s accomplishments, including increased pension amounts, enhanced welfare schemes, and improved infrastructure.
Addressing historical grievances, KCR urged voters to consider the Congress party’s past actions, emphasizing the alleged destructive impact on original Telangana. He refuted BJP’s claims of land grabbing, promising to protect assigned lands, and criticized the Congress’s proposed changes to agricultural policies.
KCR’s speech also touched on regional development initiatives, promising to develop projects like Moolavagu and Tallikota Suramma in Vemulawada and commissioning the Malkapeta Reservoir. He urged voters to think carefully and vote for continued progress, dismissing what he called baseless propaganda against his government. The Chief Minister expressed confidence in BRS winning with a significant majority in the upcoming elections.
