Union Minister and BJP state president G Kishan Reddy is stuck in an unenviable situation and is said to be worried over future steps. BJP high command is working on announcing the first list and it is said that Kishan Reddy is confused over contesting from Amberpet Assembly constituency.
Kishan Reddy has represented Amberpet several times and this Assembly segment is considered as his pocketborough. But surprisingly, he lost in 2018 polls with a thin margin. However, luck favoured him and he became a Union Minister after winning as Secunderabad MP. Kishan Reddy earned good name as Union Minister and won PM Modi and Amit Shah’s appreciation.
But due to various political developments, Kishan Reddy has been appointed as Telangana BJP chief. He is entrusted with leading party in Assembly polls. But he is said to be confused over contesting Amberpet, as he has to bid adieu to Central Minister post and Central politics forever, if he wins from Amberpet.
