Taapsee Pannu is one of the Tollywood heroines. She made her acting debut with the Telugu film Jhummandi Naadam which was released in 2010. She has received two Filmfare awards. However, she took some breaks in Telugu in recent times, and now she approached the audience with a thriller movie ‘Mishan Impossible’. Let’s see what’s the movie is about and its rating.
Story:
Taapsee Pannu who played Sailaja is working undercover to bring to light the child trafficking related to a guy named Ram Shetty. Raghupati, Raghav, and Rajaram are three kids who desire to go to Mumbai and they want to earn a large amount of money by kidnapping Dawood Ibrahim, who is the underworld don. The storyline shows how Sailaja can accomplish its mission along with the three boys.
Review:
Firstly, the role of the Journalist is well suited to Taapsee Pannu’s body language. Her performance is dignified and the whole story revolves around her and the three boys. Also, the three boys have done their best with perseverance. Her interaction with the boys in the second half of the movie is perfectly alright. The three kids have lived in their different roles and enchanted the audience. The rest of the characters are okay. The last hour of the film is tedious to watch and the film has ended with an idiotic climax.
Technical Aspects:
The music director Mark K Robin got craze, especially for the background score which is better than the music segment in the film. The cinematography works done by Deepak Yeragara is good and it is done according to the small budget of the film. Raviteja Girijala’s editing is also fine. And the total technical department has performed well.
Plus Points:
- Taapsee Pannu’s performance
- Three boys
- The background score in the first half
Minus Points:
- Boring last hour
- Narration
- Climax
Overall Review:
Except for the ending part of the movie, the performances of all the characters are riveting. But due to the lack of narration and the climax in the film, the film can be said as a half-pie.
