Mogulaiah, who is sustained as the well known Kinnera artist, has been honored with the Padma Shri award from the Indian government and received 300 square yards of land in Hyderabad and an amount of Rs 1 crore from the Telangana chief minister K.Chandrasekhar Rao, for scoring hit with his song in Bheemla Nayak, recently. A few years ago, the Telangana government had brought him out to introduce him to the world.
But in recent times, he was harassed by the local BJP leaders. They argued with Mogulaiah whether KCR had rendered him one crore rupees from his own property or not. And also, they stressed to him that it was the BJP government who brought him all the reputation by distributing Padma Shri to him.
Refusing their words, Mogulaiah said, “I don’t prefer to expand the dispute with them. I am ready to return my Padma Shri. I still claim that it was my MLA and the TRS government who dragged me into the light. I was honored with a Ugadi award by the Telangana government a few years ago, I turned into a renowned artist, after singing a song in Bheemla Nayak. After that, I received Padma Shri from the government of India.”
However, Mogulaiah felt annoyed with the harassing BJP leaders and he is even ready to return the respectful honor that he received, instead of expanding the argument with the leaders. This defines his dignity and etiquette towards his honesty.
