PM Modi to flag off Vande Bharat train between Secunderabad and Tirupati

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will flag off the Vande Bharat train between Secunderabad and Tirupati on April 8. The new Vande Bharat train service from Telangana capital Hyderabad to spiritual town Tirupati will decrease the journey time by atleast three to three and half hours. 

“We thank PM Narendra Modi for gifting second Vande Bharat train to Telugu states in the form of Secunderabad-Tirupati. Daily thousands of people travel from Hyderabad and surrounding areas to Tirupati. This new Vande Bharat train will ease their travel a lot ensure comfortable journey. We are planning for a grand launch, where PM Narendra Modi will flag off the train,” said G Kishan Reddy, Union Minister for Tourism and Culture. He is also MP of Secunderabad.

The existing train services from Secunderabad to Tirupati take about 12 hours to reach. The newly introduced Vande Bharat train will take 8 hours and 30 minutes, there by considerably decreasing the journey time. The train will have halts at Nalgonda, Guntur, Ongole and Nellore stations.
