Everyone is eagerly waiting for Rebel Star Prabhas’s upcoming mythological fantasy drama Adipurush, which is being directed by Om Raut. The film is currently in its post production works and some of its VFX works are yet to be completed.
Due to the delay, the makers have postponed the film’s release date, which was scheduled earlier for Sankranti 2023 release. As of now, the makers said that Adipurush would be hitting screens during Summer2023.
So, the release date of the film has been pushed to the coming summer and the film is finally out of the Sankranti race. The official release date of the film is awaited and it will be announced in the coming months.
However, the delay of the film might make the audience wait for a long time, but it is better because the film’s result is more important than the time taken by it to reach theatres. So, it nothing matters if the film is delayed in the midst of its making.
Adipurush is based on the epic Ramayana. Kriti Sanon plays the female lead in the character of Goddess Sita, whereas Prabhas plays Lord Rama and the Bollywood star Saif Ali Khan will be seen as Ravana. T-Series and Retrophiles are bankrolling the project on a grand scale.
