Telangana, being a financial district in Hyderabad, has now become the holder of dealership, launched by Quantum Energy, which is into design, development and manufacturing of electric scooters. Jayesh Ranjan, who is the Principal Secretary of IT and Industries, has inaugurated it. Not only Hyderabad, both Secunderabad and Warangal are also having dealerships and its EV scooters Elektron, Milan and plasma will be shown.
Kusalava Group has been funding for the Quantum, as the group has been in the automotive industry for the past 5 decades. The firm’s research and development centre and manufacturing facility are located in Hyderabad.
Jayesh said that Telangana had brought out the Electric Vehicle and Energy Storage Policy 2020-2030 as a component of its electric mobility mission.
The director of Quantum Energy, Chakravarthi Chukkapalli said, “We have started our second production facility in about 85,000 sq ft and production capacity of five thousand vehicles per month, encouraged by the response we got for our vehicles.”
