Recently, one of the important persons from YSRCP, Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy commented that YSRCP would be pleased if the two states Andhra Pradesh and Telangana reunite again. For this comment, the natives of Telangana have fired on Sajjala and the YSRTP leader Sharmila has also reacted heavily.
Sharmila stated, “We strongly condemn Sajjala’s comments. His comments are meaningless. Today Telangana is a reality. The state is built on the sacrifices of many people. It is impossible for two states to meet again. Some events take place only once in history. How do they even think of merging the two divided states?”
Sharmila advised Jagan, saying, “You should not focus on reuniting AP and Telangana but you should first develop your region. Fight for your rights, do justice for your region. And it is not correct on your part to speak in a tone that ruins the self-respect of Telangana.”
