Actor Ravi Teja, in collaboration with director Harish Shankar, is set to bring a nostalgic touch to the Telugu cinema with their upcoming film, “Mr Bachchan.” Revealed through a captivating first look poster, Ravi Teja’s appearance pays a striking homage to the legendary Amitabh Bachchan of the 70s and 80s.
In the poster, Ravi Teja dons a distinctive long mustache and a haircut reminiscent of the iconic Bollywood star. Seated on a two-wheeler, sporting shades, he exudes the seriousness associated with the Big B’s memorable characters. An abstract caricature of Amitabh Bachchan and a cinema hall, crowded with people, serve as intriguing elements in the background.
Adding a touch of Amitabh’s signature style, the poster features the memorable line, ‘Naam Tho Suna Hoga (You must have heard my name).’ Ravi Teja, a self-professed fan of Amitabh Bachchan, expressed his honor in sharing the character’s name with his favorite star.
This project marks the third collaboration between Ravi Teja and Harish Shankar, who previously worked together on “Shock” and “Mirapakay.” Making her Telugu film debut as the lead in “Mr Bachchan” is Bhagyashri Borse, known for her role in “Yaariyan 2.” The film, scheduled for a 2024 release, is produced by TG Vishwa Prasad, with Vivek Kuchibhotla as the co-producer. Renowned music composer Mickey J Meyer is set to score the music, adding to the anticipation surrounding this exciting venture.
