Ahead of the IIFA event which is scheduled to take place on May 20-21 this year in Yas island Abu Dhabi, some the Bollywood stars such as Salman Khan, Ananya Panday, Maniesh Paul, and Varun Dhawan have attended the IIFA press conference yesterday with their energetic entries. Salman Khan was groomed in a Blue shirt paired with black pants. Ananya displayed her chic in a green-colored attire. Manish appeared in vogue and Varun Dhawan entered the show in a relaxed outfit.
The four stars poked jokes at each other during the conference. Among them, Salman Khan had a little fun with Ananya Panday for being the daughter of Chunky Panday. In the middle of their silly conversation, Maniesh asked Salman to give a piece of advice to Ananya as she is going to make her debut at the upcoming award ceremony. Progressing his cutups on Ananya, Salman told her to ask for a free car from the sponsors of the conference.
Considering his jape earnestly, Ananya immediately went to the sponsors and asked the IIFA sponsors, “Nexa Waalo, mujhe gaadi free milegi (Nexa, will I please get a free car)?” And at the same time, Nexa seemed to agree to her behest. Then, Salman Khan commented, “Chunky Panday ki beti hai. Baap pe gayi hai (She is Chunky’s daughter, is just like her father).”
During the Oscars, Salman revolted against Will Smith and Chris Rocks’ squabbles. He said, “It’s nice on the part of a host to be tactful. Humour should always be above the belt but it shouldn’t be never below the belt.” From these lines, he proved the irony that he gained from his hosting profession.
He further elucidated, “I have organised shows such as Bigg Boss, Dus Ka Dum and etc on stage. Whenever I have hosted Bigg Boss, and when something wrong has happened with any of the participants that have upset me, I express it out during the show, but I know there’s a limit. End of the day, the contestants are also living in the house and they have to progress their performance, so learn to be indulgent and diplomatic towards them. I don’t cross limits. Whatever I have to say, I say it on the given Saturday and on Sunday, I will become coherent.” Exhibiting his bona fide manner according to certain situations, Salman Khan has acquired good fame in his hosting career in Bollywood.
