Finally, Superstar Mahesh Babu’s Sarkaru Vaari Paata has reached the theaters today, after a lot of frequent delays due to pandemics. Let’s see whether the expectations of the film remain preserved or not.

Story:

Mahesh Babu, who played as Mahesh possesses a loan recovery business in the US. Keerthy Suresh who played Kalaavathi takes a loan from him and fails to repay it. As a result, Mahesh gets upset and warns her but Kalaavathi brings her powerful father Samuthirakani, who played Rajendranath for his involvement in the issue. As there is no choice, Mahesh arrives in India to get his money back. But bigger problems land him in a deep mess. What is the problem? Who is this Rajendranath? How did Mahesh handle him? All these questions form the rest of the story.

Review:

From beginning to end, the film looks like an out-and-out show. With Mahesh’s charming appearance, action, and comedy, the film kept the audience engaged. The chemistry between the lead pair is good in the first half. While the second half highlights the hero-villain sequences and the track of Keerthy Suresh, Subbaraju, and Mahesh seems forced. Vennela Kishore stays around Mahesh Babu in the first half and the conversations between them are funny and entertaining. Director Parasuram convinced Mahesh Babu with the contemporary topic that involved government and banks but failed to execute it in a possibly realistic narration. But logic and reality have been missed in bank scenes.

Technical Aspects:

The technical aspects of the film are top-notch. The cinematography is excellent, which was done by Madhie. The fight scenes are a special attraction and they will be loved by the mass people. As usual, Thaman has rendered superb music and BGM. Editing works are also as nice as pie.

Plus Points:

  • Mahesh Babu
  • First half

Minus Points:

  • Routine story
  • Second half
  • Very lengthy duration

Overall Review:

The overall review of the film says it is half-pie. The sequences, comedy, and music are the only highlights of the film.

Rating: 2.5/5
