The Telangana Assembly election concluded peacefully in the joint district, with polling continuing until nightfall in some places. Noteworthy was the higher polling percentage in rural areas compared to lower turnout in urban areas. Candidates, including BRS candidate Dasyam Vinay Bhaskar, BJP candidate Rao Padma, and Congress candidate Naini Rajender Reddy, exercised their right to vote.
Despite delays in Tatikayala village and a glitch in Devannapet gram panchayat, polling progressed smoothly. Narsampet reported 83% polling by 5 pm, while Warangal East witnessed increased voter turnout in the evening, reaching 64% after 5 pm.
Bhupalapally and Mulugu districts experienced peaceful polling, with 76.10% recorded in Bhupalappalli and 79% in Mulugu by 5 pm. Enthusiastic voting was observed in rural areas, while urban areas in Thorrur, Mahbubabad, Dornakal, and Maripeda showed less interest. Collector Shashanka reported 79.32% in Dornakal and 75.93% in Mahbubabad by 5 pm.
Polling continued late into the night in Ghanpur, Palakurti, and Janagama constituencies, with percentages recorded as 76.25%, 81.23%, and 83.34%, respectively.
