The Russia-Ukrain war has become life-changing for the Indian students who are pursuing Medicine in Ukraine. Also, their parents have been suffering much anxiety about their children’s lives. In the recent times, a debate on why a large number of Indians travel to these distant cold countries to accomplish MBBS courses even there are so many medical colleges located in India.
Being a part in the debate, the Prime Minister Narendra Modi said, “Our children today are settling in small countries to pursue their studies, especially in medical education. The main setback there is language. They are still going.”
He also asked his opinions. Can our private sector not enter this field in a big way? or Can our state governments not frame good policies?”
Ukrainian doctors said, “India requires an impressive set of tactics that regales to the objectives of budding doctors and uses their services to strengthen the reach of healthcare to typical citizens.”
