As per the current trend, the film’s digital streaming rights were sold to a popular OTT platform Sony Liv, before its theatrical release.
Now, Sony Liv is holding the post theatrical streaming rights of Gargi, and the release date of the film’s OTT streaming will be announced based on the film’s prosperity. Already, the film has earned a good word of mouth and it remains to see how long it can stay at the theatres.
Besides this, there is also a rule from the film production officials that no film should enter OTT before the 50 days of its theatrical run. So, let’s wait and see if this works well or not.
