Huzurabad BRS candidate, Padi Kaushik Reddy, finds himself in legal turmoil as a case has been registered against him at the Kamalapur police station. The case, filed by the MPDO, alleges a violation of election rules. Simultaneously, the Election Commission has taken a serious stance regarding Kaushik Reddy’s comments made during the campaign.
On the final day of the election campaign, Kaushik Reddy’s remarks, “Will you vote and win? Or will our whole family get angry at Kamalapur bus stand? If you don’t vote, you will see our three bodies,” have raised concerns. The Election Commission has directed the Returning Officer to conduct an inquiry into Kaushik Reddy’s comments and submit a report. The legal developments add an element of uncertainty to Kaushik Reddy’s electoral journey in Huzurabad.
