The 83rd edition of Hyderabad’s renowned Numaish has received an extension of three days, following a recommendation from Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy to Minister Sridhar Babu, who also serves as the president of the Exhibition Society. Originally scheduled to conclude on Thursday, February 15, the annual All India Industrial Exhibition will now remain open until February 18, catering to the enthusiastic crowds.
This decision came in response to a request from traders, with the All India Industrial Exhibition Society (AIIES) approaching the authorities to extend the event to accommodate the weekend rush. An office bearer of the AIIES confirmed the extension, ensuring that visitors have additional time to explore the diverse offerings and attractions of the fair.
Among the highlights of Hyderabad’s Numaish is an interactive pottery-making stall, aimed at promoting financial independence and raising awareness among artisans. Supported by the Khadi and Village Industries Commission, the initiative distributed 500 electric pottery wheels and implemented a skill development program, empowering local artisans with the tools and knowledge needed to thrive in their craft.
With the extended duration, attendees can look forward to an enriched experience, indulging in the vibrant atmosphere and cultural diversity showcased at Hyderabad’s beloved Numaish.
