There were claims that the film unit kept a few patients from entering the crisis ward, causing tumult throughout the evening. In light of these claims, the makers’ affiliation explained that they had paid Rs. 10,000 for taking shots at the medical clinic.

The producer Fahadh Faasil has been sued by the Kerala Human Rights Commission despite this clarification. Fahadh has not responded to the controversy as of yet
