Tollywood star heroine Samantha has gained popularity for mesmerizing audiences with her beauty and acting skills. The digital debut of Samantha was done with the web series “The Family Man 2.” Her portrayal of the character with negative shades became so attached to audiences in this web series.
More particularly, her role as Raji, a gang rape victim who lost her brother and fights on the front lines as a rebel commander for her racial prestige, was very memorable and fresh. “The Family Man” franchise was created jointly by Raj and DK, and this series was developed as the second installment.
After “The Family Man 2,” Samantha has teamed up once again with the same directors for the Indian version of the web series “Citadel,” which is currently in production. Moreover, it is reported that Samantha is going to be part of the upcoming season of the “The Family Man” franchise.
However, before this series, Raj and DK announced another crime thriller web series titled “Rakthabeej.” The makers declared that in this series Aditya Roy Kapur would play the main lead. Samantha is reportedly giving the green light to act in this web series.
“Rakthabeej” is said to have an interesting concept, but Samantha’s role in it has not yet been revealed. With these back-to-back web series, Samantha is creating a market for herself in Bollywood. She is also planning to enter movies, but the right project hasn’t come along, and hence it got delayed a bit.
On the other hand, Aditya Roy Kapur made his digital debut through the web series “The Night Manager.” “Rakthabeej” will be Aditya’s second web series. Aditya was last seen in the movie “Gumraah” last year, and he is currently shooting for the movie “Metro.” In this movie, Sara Ali Khan is opposite Aditya.
